Mass measuring units for measuring the flow rate of wells are designed to determine the daily flow rates of liquid, oil and water by measuring the mass of liquid (oil-gas mixture) and the volume of associated gas of oil wells. The measurement of the mass of the liquid is carried out without interrupting the supply of the oil-gas mixture from the well with a measuring tank using a strain gauge force sensor.

Measuring group units are designed to measure the average daily mass flow of liquid, to measure the average daily volume flow of gas and to determine the average daily mass flow of oil extracted from oil wells with an error according to GOST R 8.615-2005. The field of application of the installation is pressure systems for collecting oil well products and automated control systems for technological processes of oil production. The separation method is used to measure the mass of oil and the volume of free gas in the installation.
